If the rail for their clothes is too high then they won't put their clothes away as they cannot reach, try to buy an adjustable rail so it can be raised as your child grows.
When deciding which pieces of furniture to purchase you need to decide how much stuff your child has, a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a box unit are all essential. You can then add more bookcases and shelves depending on if you need them. If you teach your child that everything has a place, and how to put everything way then they will hopefully keep it tidy. If you give them a place to store things then they will be able to find their favorite toy quicker the next time they want it. With tidy rooms there is more time to play, and this is always good.
